Holding Place Institute

Therapy begins with something simple yet essential: the human need to feel safe, to find support, and to be heard.

The therapeutic process is based on the creation of a stable space where the individual can be themselves—without haste, without imposed interpretations, and without the demand to “be well.”

Our approach emphasizes relationship, emotion, and inner experience. Through a therapeutic relationship characterized by presence, consistency, and emotional holding, conditions are created in which even what has never been spoken can be heard—what has been difficult to express.

Here, listening is not a technique—it is an attitude. Understanding is not rushed—it is a process. And change is not imposed—it emerges over time, within the safety of the relationship.

We work with respect for each person’s personal history, recognizing that symptoms, difficulties, and patterns become meaningful when placed within the context of their life and relationships. Therapy becomes a space where the past gains meaning, the present becomes tolerable, and the future is built with courage.

The Holding Place Institute was created with the vision of becoming a place of encounter with the self—a safe place where every experience and lived moment can emerge and be transformed.
